Un secolo di fotografia di moda. Al Paul Getty Museum
Richard Avedon, Lillian Bassman, Guy Bourdin, Hiro, Peter Lindbergh, Man Ray, Helmut Newton, Gordon Parks, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts: sono alcuni degli ottanta fotografi protagonisti della mostra "Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography, 1911-2011", in corso al museo californiano. Un secolo di storia della moda viene ripercorso attraverso un corpus ampio di opere che, oltre alle fotografie di moda, include abiti, accessori, illustrazioni, copertine di riviste, video e pubblicità. Gettando nuova luce sul racconto dell'evoluzione nel settore, che finisce per intercettare anche le innovazioni e i cambiamenti estetici della società, a partire dagli anni Dieci del Novecento.
