Oltre 90 opere tra schizzi, studi, acquerelli, disegni e una selezione di dipinti ad olio mai giunti insieme in Italia sono in mostra al Chiostro del Bramante, nel centro storico di Roma. Tra i temi proposti, l'interesse verso i viaggi che condusse Turner in più occasioni verso l’Italia, a Roma, Napoli e Venezia, città a cui l'artista dedicò una memorabile serie di vedute.
