Il volo dei record di Tomás Saraceno in Argentina 2 Febbraio 2020
"Volare liberi per la prima volta, sollevati solo dal sole e dall’aria che respiriamo – senza litio, pannelli solari, elio o combustibili fossili. 50 anni dopo il primo allunaggio, il nostro viaggio è radicalmente diverso": sono queste le parole usate dall'artista Tomás Saraceno per descrivere il progetto "Fly with Aerocene Pacha", che, dopo una serie di test, si è correttamente svolto nei giorni scorsi nell’area delle Salinas Grandes, in Argentina. Proprio nel suo Paese d'origine, Saraceno e il suo staff sono riusciti a sollevare e far viaggiare una sorta di mongolfiera e il suo passeggero, ricorrendo esclusivamente all'energia solare e all'aria. La concreta realizzazione di questo intervento precede di qualche settimana l'attesa monografica che l'Italia si appresta a dedicare all'artista: Prenderà infatti il via il 22 febbraio "Tomás Saraceno. Aria", allestita nel Piano Nobile e nel Cortile di Palazzo Strozzi, a Firenze.
