Il 2017 è un anno speciale per la città di Montréal. La popolare destinazione del Canada, nonché centro maggiore della provincia del Québec, festeggia infatti in grande stile il traguardo del 375esimo anniversario della sua fondazione. Nel nutrito programma messo a punto per la straordinaria occasione, a emergere è la mostra-evento La Balade de la Paix / An Open-Air Museum. Inaugurata nei giorni scorsi e aperta fino al 29 ottobre 2017, è una grande rassegna di arte pubblica e si estende per circa un chilometro, intercettando il tracciato della Sherbrooke Street. Organizzata dal Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA), in collaborazione con McCord Museum, Concordia e McGill universities, La Balade de la Paix lancia ai residenti e visitatori della città l’invito a percorrere questa “passeggiata nell’arte” con lo stesso spirito che anima i partecipanti alle marce della pace.
